The Fantasticks (Duchess Theatre, previews from 24th May 2010, press night 9 June)
Cole Kitchenn will general manage the first ever West-End production of the acclaimed New York hit musical The Fantasticks directed Amon Miyamoto (Tony Award nominee for Pacific Overtures) at the Duchess Theatre from May 2010. Design by Rumi Matsui, Lighting by Rick Fisher (2009 Tony Award Winner for Billy Elliott), casting by Irene Cotton.
The show's original New York production ran for a total of 42 years and 17,162 performances, making it the world's longest running musical and has played in over 2000 cities. With music by Harvey Schmidt and lyrics by Tom Jones, the score includes the timeless classic 'Try to Remember'. It is loosely based on the play The Romancers by Edmond Rostand, concerning two fathers who put a wall between their houses to ensure their children fall in love, because they know children always do what their parents forbid.
Produced by Kumiko Yoshii for Gorgeous Entertainment, John Gore and Thomas B Grath in association with Nica Burns and Max Weitzenhoffer for Nimax Theatres, with general management by Cole Kitchenn Ltd

About Bill (Summer 2010)
by Matthew Strachan & Bernie Gaughan, who wrote Next Door's Baby most recently seen at the Orange Tree Theatre, Richmond. This one woman show is actually about one man; Bill. Bill is the thread that connects all the female characters in this one act musical. Some love him, others hate him, but they are all moved by him.  We never meet Bill (perhaps we’re glad about this…) but we feel as if we know him. He infuriates, he charms, he does the decent thing only to negate it with a caddish gesture: he is a true artist, loyal only to himself and his gift. Bill’s gift is his talent for playing the trumpet. He’s a jazz man, transported by his music. He is the boy with a horn. And how.
Scheduled for production in 2010, About Bill promises to be hilarious, touching, and the perfect showcase for the fabulous West End actress Kim Ismay.
